The journey of this book began while I was teaching at a local Maktab, where I realised there was a need for a Tajweed book that was simple, clear, and suitable not only for young learners, but also for reverts and anyone who finds Tajweed difficult to understand, while still covering the essential rules.

This led our team to develop a book for anyone wishing to learn the basic rules of Tajweed, presenting the core principles in a way that is easy to understand and easy to teach.

Great care and collective effort have gone into reviewing the content and refining it where needed. The book acts as a short course to help learners understand the fundamentals of Tajweed, along with an explanation of the symbols that appear in the Glorious Qur’an.
